I've been using Google Chrome (Mac) full time for the last 10 days. The only gaping hole in my browser experience has been sorely missed Firefox Extensions. That is about to change.

The Google Chrome Extensions gallery is currently in limited beta release to allow developers to upload their extensions. If you are a developer, you can upload your extension here. If you are looking to find and install extensions, please check back here soon!
Latest builds of Chromium for Mac tempt me to Make Chromium My Default Browser
In addition to fast browsing, it now offers dev level Chromium Extensions.
If reduced clutter and easy reading is what your after then TidyRead has been released as a Firefox Addon. Note: it is still at experimental stage.
The overlay method makes it easy to use for articles and has the benefit of hiding all those online advertisements.
To use Gmail, I have to run it in Safari. It simply grinds to a halt in Firefox 3.0.5 with persistent loading messages and menus that refuse to work.
It won't even load in the latest build of WebKit 3.2.1, though I can understand that.
Could there be any issues with my installed extensions listed below?
I would love to get back to running a single browser, if possible.

Update 1: It may be an Extension issue.
I got my arse into gear and switched off all the extensions in alphabetical order. It seems as though Cards Games doesn't like Gmail, well so far.!!
Update 2: Fuck it. Gmail still stuffs up. I've decided to totally delete Firefox, profiles, extensions etc etc and downloaded a new version and will see what happens.
Update 3: Well, I AppZapped Firefox 3 and started from scratch.
Everything works like a charm, including Gmail.

The Mac install was smooth, picking up existing Bookmarks and compatible Add-ons. Hopefully previous issues are resolved. Gmail v2.0 even works.
