Are you ready for some creativity? I hope you are because it’s finally time for my previously announced What is Graphic Design Poster Competition. Sharpen your pencils and let those creative juices boil until you come up with a unique concept. I’ve waited a bit longer to start this as I got a few requests from people that are off skiing this week and wanted to join. Now you can submit your poster until February 15th.

If you visit the official Government site you won't find any mention of the SIEV-X memorial.

SIEV X - Wikipedia
While the ACT Government was supportive of the memorial with Chief Minister Jon Stanhope opening the memorial, the Federal Government, tried to stop the memorial being constructed. The National Capital Authority claimed that it was not an approved structure.

Approximately 146 children, 142 women and 65 men died

It's is a profound memorial where each post honours a man, woman or child lost in the tragedy. The posts were hand decorated by schools and community groups from around Australia.
