Bitty Browser

Bitty Browser

Bitty is developed by Scott Matthews of Turnstyle and comes with considerable configuration options.

I've used the Button format, in the side bar, that launches Bitty in a pop-up window. It links to the Resources forum via an RSS feed.

Note: the generated code does play havoc with page validation!! UPDATE: Validation issues now fixed.

Bitty is the little browser that goes on any Web page. It's like Picture-in-Picture for the Web.

That is neat!!

I do not know much about web programming, but "bitty browser" could be very useful. Thinking a little ahead, I see it as the perfect substitute for the "live search" feature that you see on web design blogs. I mean, it could replace AJAX in some cases.

If only it allows the developer to change its appearance (ie. not look like a web browser) and deliver it custom content (like dynamic content in xml format). That would be awesome!

It's definitely neat, but I'm still trying to find a practical use for it...?
