The thorn in the side of all Australian conservatives, High Court Chief Justice Michael Kirby (judge), retires today.
The Liberals got so desperate to demean this fine man that their chief head kicker, Bill Heffernan, accused him of using government cars to pick up male prostitutes. Yes, he had to apologise after the evidence was proven a lie.
For your wisdom, humanity, dissenting votes and dignity during trying times, you have my warmest thanks sir. Enjoy what lies ahead of you.
