Digg Bar Blocking - Gruber's PHP Solution

Daring Fireball: How to Block the DiggBar

The result... this very appropriate message.
Lets hope Digg drops this stupidity fast.

Update: Daring Fireball - It's about the URLs

Framing breaks bookmarking, it breaks copy-and-paste from the location field, it breaks your browser history, it breaks bookmarklets. There’s nothing OK about it.

Update 2: via:DF and my preferred solution.
The Faruk Ateş JS solution - JavaScript DiggBar killer (but not blocker)

I do care about the problems inherent to “being framed” on my own domain. Now, I could’ve joined the masses [...], but what I really want is for the DiggBar to just die a horrible death...

More Thoughts On The DoucheBarDeathBarDiggBar

Dear Digg,

If you wish to provide your users with a toolbar
for added functionality in browsing Digg,
give them a real toolbar as a browser plugin.

Don’t fuck up the Web as a whole.

Sincerely,
A web developer who cares

Update 3: Rob's WP plugin No DiggBar

Update 4: Firefox Add on Digg Bar Remover. Labeled as experimental.

Update:5 Digg comes to it's senses.

After I read that post, I wrote a WordPress plugin to block the Digg bar at http://akrabat.com/no-diggbar

Yes, saw that Rob... nice work.
I should "adapt" it as a b2 plugin as well
