IE7..some improvement shown

Updated IE 7 Public Beta 2

Robert Vamosi at Cnet says the new version is no different from the previous build. He is wrong.

There are many CSS rendering improvements on the original release.

It still doesn't work using WindowBlinds, the UI is still butt ugly and it doesn't handle some CSS Pseudo-elements at all well.

However...it does deal with height and width (min/max) a lot better.

I have only used it to cruise a few sites and am impressed with how it now deals with elastic layouts. Well worth another look.

Update:
It seems that this is as good as it gets for IE7.

I have installed IE7 Beta2 several times over the past 3 months with negative results.

IE7 returns an error while loading and requests an error report be sent, then abruptly shuts down.
