MelbourneIT - dripping with shame

We now have the full story on John Howard shuts down JohnHoward?, thanks to Tim Longhurst's detailed follow up.

MelbourneIT have covered themselves with shame over this and their hasty compliance to the request from the Department of the PrimeMinister.

The fact that police also jumped at Howards demand is a real worry with their inability to tell the difference between satire and phishing.

Richard Neville is well known for his writings and satirical approach to conservatism. At the most they should have just politley asked him not to use images from the Prime Ministers own web site.
I'm sure that Leunig would have gladly supplied a more suitable image.
