I can't measure the claims above, however it sets a speed benchmark for the soon to be released Firefox 3.

that release has been absoloutly perfect and they did really good job in it .
i've been following opera 9.5 beta testing since the release of update 10034 and TBH these guys really look at bugs report and see what they can do .
