I don't get a bill. I have a pre paid iPhone.
The option for non-itemised bills, if my information is correct, was not available from the start.

Optus spokeswoman Melissa Clare said customers had to opt in to view and manage their bills online. She said the paper used for printed bills was not recycled but was sourced from "sustainable, renewable resources".

Young rejected that explanation, saying the unrecycled paper was still sourced from native forests.

Telstra spokesman Peter Taylor said "in the early days of the iPhone" customers would receive full itemisation of mobile data costs but "moving forward we'll be providing a summary of the data use and encouraging customers to go online or call Telstra if they would like a detailed breakdown".
