Ramos-Horta wounded

Jose Ramos-Horta was wounded in the attack and rebel leader Alfredo Reinado, was shot dead.

Reinado never accepted the vote of the East Timor people. He split the army and ran a relentless campaign of destruction and misery.

That such a new country is dragged through this is a tragedy.

Here's hoping that Nobel Peace Prize winning Jose Ramos Horter recovers and continues his good work.
