Sage feed aggregator upgrade

Firefox Sage v 1.3

Nick Finck sings the praises of Live Bookmarks in Firefox and comments that this is powerful reason to try Firefox.

The Sage RSS and Atom feed aggregator extension should not be overlooked either.
With the release of Sage 1.3 you now have a News Aggregator that integrates with Firefox's Live Bookmarks.

Sage is a lightweight RSS and Atom feed aggregator extension for Mozilla Firefox. It's got a lot of what you need and not much of what you don't.

Major Features:
* Reads RSS (2.0, 1.0, 0.9x) and Atom feeds
* Feed Discovery
* Integrates with Firefox's bookmark storage and Live Bookmarks
* Imports and exports OPML feed lists
* Newspaper feed rendering customizable via style sheets
* Technorati and RSS search engine integration
* Catalan, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Swedish locale support
* Simple, one step install / uninstall

I've just started using Sage to keep track of my "dailies" - design blogs, news, project updates.

It's easy to use, and it's light-weight. I use Firefox as my main browser, so it's nice just to be able to Alt-S and get into Sage.

One thing that might be worth a mention is Firefox's own handling of feed subscriptions. When on a site with a feed (handily added to the page metas), click that little icon down which appears down the bottom right of the Firefox window. It treats the articles in the feed like it does bookmarked tab groups.

Personally, I find Sage easier to use though.
