Switching: it's small things that matter

The switch to the new MacBook Pro highlights that you loose a little, with some familiar apps not easily replaced.
Two examples:

  • The elegant, networkable and free Stickies notes.
  • The feature rich and free MWSnap image capture.

The search for suitable replacements continues and the short term solutions are...

Neither go near replacing the versatility and functionality of the Win originals. The search continues.

The upside is I love the MBP and am running Firefox 2 with all extensions working. Recommended Text editors are being trialled and I like Smultron.
