At last, the Phone Camera I've been waiting for has landed in Australia.
The Sony Ericsson K850i has impressive specs but once I picked it up I was disappointed with it's plastic feel and fussy interface.

Lots and lots of pixels are not, and never will be, a substitute for decent optics.

I'm splitting it's considerable price into a new mobile phone and reasonable digital camera.

I've purchased the phone, a Sony Ericsson T650i and the change will buy this casual snapper a more than adequate and compact Digital Camera.
